There Is Too Much Construction Waste
According to the National Association of Home Builders, about 7 to 10 million tons of shingle tear-off waste and installation scrap is produced as byproducts of roofing installation every year. Imagine that much waste occupying landfills when they can be recycled to serve other purposes instead. Recycled asphalt shingles can be used for building roads or as a Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) additive for creating new shingles.
There Are Alternative Products
