Getting to Know Our Most Popular Gutter Protection Systems

Gutters are an essential part of your home, especially when it comes to preventing moisture damage on the roof and siding. However, there are plenty of things that can get into the gutters and clog them up, keeping them from safely redirecting water away from the home. How can you keep debris out of your gutters without having to climb up your roof every week? Our gutter protection systems got you and your gutters covered.

We offer several types of gutter protection systems specially designed to keep your gutters from getting clogged. Each option works in a different fashion, but they’re all designed to help lower the amount of maintenance required to ensure that your gutters are working 100% as intended.

Screen – Gutter Shingle

Screen-type gutter protection systems like our Gutter Shingle operate just like fiber or wire mesh found in windows and doors. The filter goes above the gutter trough and keeps leaves from falling inside. Over time, the debris dries up and gets blown away by the wind, keeping your gutters clog-free.

Filter – Leaf Defier®

Filter-type gutter protection systems like our own Leaf Defier® also act like wire mesh, except the mesh goes directly into a portion of the gutter (just like a screen cover). Filter-type gutter protection system are one of the more inexpensive options for keeping your gutters safe.

Reverse Flow

Using physics and engineering to keep your gutters from getting clogged up, reverse flow protection systems cover the top part of the gutter. Unlike screen protectors, a reverse flow system has a solid top surface, but features a small slit near the lip. When raining, the water’s surface tension automatically directs it into the slit while debris carried by the water harmlessly falls off the side of the gutters.
